BIAMC strives to support Veterans Charities
BIAMC Yorktown Chapter is dedicated to supporting local and national Veterans Charities.
We accomplish this by both conducting our own annual charity event and supporting other organizations events throughout the year.
Every fall BIAMC Yorktown conducts it's annual charity event to raise funds for smaller and less well funded Veterans organizations that are dedicated to the care and welfare of our Active Duty service members and Veterans.
In addition, BIAMC Yorktown has a self imposed policy of supporting at least one Veterans charity event every month being conducted by other Motorcycle Clubs, Associations, or Riding Clubs. Some members doing multiple events every month.
On 25 Oct 2015 BIAMC Yorktown Chapter was honored to present a check for $2,550 to the Hampton Chapter of Guitars For Vets Program (G4V).
On 29 Oct 2016 BIAMC Yorktown Chapter had the privilege of presenting a check for $2,800 to the directors of the
Virginia Chapter of "Missing in America Project".
Our 2017 Raffle has now concluded resulting in $2,000.00 for MIAP.
It's a little less than we'd hoped for but we sure appreciate everyone who supported the cause, every dollar really goes along way for MIAP.
